The Practice now uses Imail to process some correspondence to patients

The Surgery now uses Imail to process some correspondence to patients. Imail do not do anything with patient information other than print off and post correspondence for us. No patient data is held by the company or passed to anyone else, and all Information and Data Protection regulations are upheld. All patients' rights are fully protected .

Shingle Vaccine routinely offered to patients 70 and 79 years old

A new vaccine to prevent Shingles will be routinely offered from September 2013 to the age group 70 and 79 years. Please see our Shingles Vaccine page on our website for further information and to find out if you are eligible for the vaccine.

Have your say to improve your care - Friends and Family Test from December 2014

We would like your feedback on the care or treatment we give you anytime you visit your GP or have contact with the practice. It doesn’t take long. 

Put us to the test and tell us what is working and what we can improve. You can say what you think without giving your name and we will use the information to plan improvements to our services.

Either complete via the link to the right of the page, or complete an orange card at the surgery and post in the box marked ‘Friends and Family Test’ in the waiting room.

Patient Online Access to Summary Information

Patients who are registered to use our secure online access for appointments and repeat prescriptions will now have access to their coded medical information.

Any other data where agreed with the doctor and subject to your consent will also be made available to you.

If you would like to request the above features please see the receptionist in person and she will activate this for you.

If you have not yet registered for patient online access and you would like to view a summary of your medical information securely online please see the receptionist in person.

Please telephone the receptionist If you are housebound and unable to attend the surgery. The receptionist will need to go through some security questions with you before activating your summary medical information.

Due to an increase in the number of wasted appointments through patients failing to attend appointments without cancelling it has become necessary for the Practice to implement the following policy; DNA Policy
