Improved Access

For all patients registered in the Forest of Dean routine improved access appointments are available at local surgeries.

Appointment times

• Monday – Friday, 18:30 – 20:00
• Saturdays, 08:30 – 12:30

Same day appointments Monday – Friday are also available for acute and urgent problems. The receptionist will advise if your health problem is suitable for one of these appointments. To book an appointment, please contact the surgery.

Dispensary Opening Times

Monday – Friday – 09:00 – 13:00 then 13:30 – 18:00

Out of Hours Service

Out of hours there will be a recorded message on the surgery telephone number which will redirect you to the emergency services. This service is for urgent medical problems only. Out of hours cover is provided by NHS Gloucestershire between the hours of 18:30 – 08:00 on weekdays, all day on Saturdays, all day on Sundays and Bank Holidays.

If the case is urgent when the practice is closed you can call NHS 111 and follow the instructions to be redirected to the emergency services, or visit Dilke Memorial Hospital.
